Customers & Staff Raise £1,300.00 For Erskine

Clyde Shopping Centre's customers and staff raised £1,300.00 for the Erskine Veterans Care Home.
The money was raised over the festive period by donations given at the Christmas Nativity Scene within the centre and by the centre's staff who took part in Christmas Jumper Day.
Erskine Community Fundraiser for the west, David McPadden said " we would like to say a big thank you to all the customers and staff at Clyde Shopping Centre who raised a fantastic £1,300.00 for our veterans. This year Erskine are celebrating 100 years of caring for veterans so what a brilliant way to start our historic centenary than with this generous donation".
Deputy Centre Manager Sandra Carmichael said " The generosity showed by our customers for veterans at Erskine is heart warming and we are proud to have helped
it for a very worthy cause. Erskine is close to us, because so many people from Clydebank know someone or have a relative in the care home".

Isabell Trainer Clyde's Community Coordinator was delighted to present a cheque for £1100 on behalf of Clyde Shopping Centre's Customers to Adrian from St Margarets Hospice.
A big thank you to all our customer's for their donations to the Nativity display during the festivity period.
Christmas Light Switch On 2014
Christmas Light Switch On 22nd November 2014 saw Santa arrive with his Reindeer and parade through the centre to open Santa's Grotto, various dancers, singers, local Boyband Rewind and XFactor's Paul Akister made the day a great success finishing off the day with a great Firework Display!
Well done Audrey McBryan who won the fantastic family holiday to Disneyland at the cartoon capers roadshow hosted by Radio Clyde on Saturday 21st June 2014.

Clyde Shopping Centre and our customers once again have generously given donations throughout the year which goes to local charities. This year on behalf of our customers we donated a further £1000 to six separate Charities.
On behalf of the charities we would like to thank our staff and customers for their generosity. The six charities are:-
Chas Robin House offers a place where families can relax, recharge their batteries and have fun with their children with expert care on hand to help them make the most of each day and live life to the full.
Davie Cooper Centre who are building a Family Centre for Children and Young Adults with Special Needs on three acres of land on the Great Western Road, Clydebank.
Scott Docherty Memorial Fund SAD UK the cardiac charity SAD UK aims to save lives, providing information, funding research and medical equipment to prevent premature sudden cardiac death.
Ronald McDonald House Yorkhill Family House Limited is a charity that provides free accommodation in the Ronald McDonald House to over 600 families from all over Scotland each year whilst their children are patients in Yorkhill Hospital.
St Margaret's Hospice for almost 60 years, the Hospice, which is situated in colourful grounds in Clydebank, has offered compassion, dedicated commitment and excellent care to patients with advanced life-limiting illnesses and also to the older person with complex medical and nursing needs.
ClydeShopmobility helps those with limited mobility to get around by providing mobility equipment, such as motorised scooters and wheelchairs.
