Join us for Clyde’s Summer Funfest Series at the Clyde Shopping Centre!

Enjoy “Terrific Tuesdays,” “Thrilling Thursdays,” and “Super Saturdays” with exciting craft workshops from 12-3pm. Each day offers new themes and activities to keep the summer school holidays vibrant and fun!

 

  • Tues 2nd, Thurs 4th and Sat 6th July
  • Tues 9th, Thurs 11th and Sat 13th July
  • Tues 16th, Thurs 18th and Sat 20th July
  • Tues 23rd, Thurs 25th and Sat 27th July

 

  • 2nd – Around the World Lego.  Travel the map with us as children can make and take home a small Lego figure which represents different holiday destinations around the world. Enter a competition to win a Lego kit from The Entertainer.
  • 4th – A Day at the Seaside. Sand art, shell pictures and sealife art are just some of the crafty activities families can enjoy at this workshop.  Children can dig in the sand box for a prize from One Beyond.
  • 6th – Kiddie Cakes. Cake & biscuit decorating workshop is a great way to ease into the Summer holidays.  Children will be given a ready to eat cupcake & biscuit to decorate and take home, PLUS we will have fun colour in placemats that can be used at dinner time.  Everyone who attends the workshop will go into the draw to win a gift card for Costa so they can grab a drink to go with their cakes & biscuits.
  • 9th – From Trash to Treasure.  This workshop gives families the opportunity to turn everyday household waste into a crafty treasure to be adored and used again and again. Win a voucher to spend at Poundland!
  • 11th –   Ahead of the Despicable Me 4 cinema launch, come along to meet Bob & Stuart from the Minions! They’ll be handing out bananas, including some lucky ones that include tickets to the Omniplex Cinema to see the new movie! There are also Minions themed craft workshops to take part in.
  • 13th – Unicorn Magic.  This magical filled workshop will give families the chance to create their very own ceramic unicorn to take home plus draw with beautiful picture of a unicorn using expert step by step guidance templates and embellish it with lots of fun and sparkly accessories.  The best picture will win a myths & legends game from CeX.
  • 16th – Superheros Assemble Superman will be making an appearance at this fun superhero themed craft workshop.  Superman will be on the look out for mini heros to help him with a scavenger hunt throughout the centre.  Everyone who enters the hunt will go into the draw to win a super summer toy pack from B & M.
  • 18th – Shipped Wrecked at the Shops is a pirate & princess themed craft workshop where children can play some pirate & princess themed games, try out some sparkly and seaside themed crafts and win some treasure from Claire’s.
  • 20th – Magical Circus. A workshop filled with circus tricks and hands on engagement.  Families will learn how to create fun magic & circus tricks to impress friends & family.  Open to big weans too!  A chance for grown ups to be silly for a while.  Everyone who attends this workshop goes into a draw to win a wonderful gift the whole family can use from TJ Hughes
  • 23rd – Dino Discovery.  Lots of cretaceous crafts for dinosaur fans with replica skulls on display and design-a-saurus activity to win a dinosaur prize from Home Bargains.
  • 25th – Teddy Bears Picnic.  Blair Bear will appear in centre from 12-3pm alongside teddy bear crafts.  Blair Bear will have a limited number of free vouchers to collect a free child’s sandwich from Greggs for lunch PLUS we’ll have teddy bear story-time at 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30pm
  • 27th – Ancient Art. Educational and fun workshop where children and their grown ups will get the chance to learn to write with Hieroglyphics, Roman lettering & numbers and draw pictures and patterns from ancient times.  Everyone who participates will go into a draw to win an art easel and paints from The Works.

 

Additionally, for the month of July, embark on an exciting adventure with “Clyde’s Hidden Treasures Hunt“. Search for clues hidden in shop windows throughout the shopping centre and solve the mystery for a chance to win fantastic prizes!

Prize draw terms & conditions:

  1. The promoter is: Clyde Shopping Centre 170 Kilbowie Road Clydebank
  2. Employees of Clyde Shopping Centre or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Closing date for entry will be 31st July 2024 after this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  6. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  7. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  8. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  9. Winners will be chosen: at random from all correct entries entered using the official competition entry form and verified through a draw. 5 winners will be chosen to receive a prize bundle containing a selection of gifts chosen by the promoter and tenants at Clyde Shopping Centre.
  10. The winners will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form, If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  11. The promoter will notify the winner of the prize.
  12. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  14. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK]data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  16. Limit of one entry per person
